How do I view the proprietary
explanation files?
When you mouse over an area with
proprietary explanation files, (example: paragraph headers or an area that has
red text) a “finger” icon will appear. When the icon appears, doubleclick the
left mouse button and the proprietary explanation files will appear in a pop-up
window, which we call a SmartBox. To move the SmartBox, click and hold the left
mouse button over the SmartBox center area, where the four arrows appear, then
move the mouse to where you want the SmartBox to be and release the mouse
button.

Will this website work with my Mac?
Yes. You can view the forms with a
Firefox browser. Download the completed forms to your Mac and open them with
any word processor compatible with Microsoft Word file format (.doc).

Why is some text in red and
bracketed?
The text that is in red and bracketed
is where the user is prompted to enter his or her relevant data to the form. To
change and add your relevant data; mouse over the area, and when the finger
icon is displayed, double click the left mouse button. A SmartBox with
proprietary explanation files will appear. Enter your text into the white area
of the SmartBox, and when finished, click on “replace text” to change the text
in the form (*Note: text will still display in red with brackets. When the form
is saved as completed or downloaded to your PC, the text will change to black
and the brackets will be removed. To disregard the text you created in the
SmartBox click “‘close.”

How do I edit a form using the SmartBox
explanations?
From the options menu, click on
either “complete new form” or “access form in process.” If you select “complete
new form,” you will be directed to a list of available forms for editing. If
you select “access a form in process,” you will be directed to a list of your
forms that you have “saved to work on later.” Select the form you want to edit
and the form will then be displayed for editing.

How do I change the black text?
To change the black text , click the
left mouse button and highlight the text you want to edit and change as
necessary.

How do I change the red text?
To change the red text , mouse over
that area and a finger icon will be displayed. Double click the left mouse
button and a SmartBox window will popup. Type your text in the blank text field
with the white background near the bottom of the SmartBox. When finished, click
on “replace text” to change the text in the form (Note: when the text is
changed it will still display in red with brackets. When the form is saved as
completed and downloaded, the text will change to black, and the brackets will
be removed). To disregard the text you entered, click “close.”

When I save the form to my PC, will
the red text disappear?
No. When you save the form as
“completed and store online” or “saved and downloaded to your PC”, the red text
is converted to black and the brackets are removed. *Note: all forms are saved
as a Microsoft Word file (.doc). When you print the completed form, the text is
all in black.

How do I save a form to work on
later?
At the bottom of the form you are
viewing, select “save online to work on later,” and when prompted enter the
file name you wish to save the file as. *Note: the form title is the default
file name, and you may edit the file name if desired.

Can I store a completed form online?
Yes. At the bottom of the form you
are viewing, select “save and store online as a completed file.” When prompted,
enter the file name you wish to save the file as, and the form will be saved
with the file name in a Microsoft Word file format (.doc). *Note: the form
title is the default file name, and you may edit the file name as desired.

Can I edit a completed form that I
stored online?
Yes. When you access a completed form
and download it your PC you may edit the form using your word processing
editor. *Note: all forms in this application are saved in the Microsoft Word
file format.

How do I download a form to my PC?
At the bottom of the form you are
viewing select “save to your PC” and follow the directions given. You can also
download the form to your PC on the “Forms Completed” page.

Can I edit a form that I have
saved to my PC?
Yes. You can edit the form using your
word processing editor that you have on your PC. *Note: all forms from this
application are saved in the Microsoft Word file format.

Can I save the proprietary
explanation files to my PC?
No. The proprietary explanation files
are proprietary intellectual property, and no one is authorized to make copies
of or print the proprietary explanation files. The explanation files contain
more than 450,000 words with instructions on how to complete more than 3,300
blanks in more than 100 forms. The creation of the explanation file took more
than two years of effort by a team of lawyers and professional business people.

Can I use the “copy” and “paste”
function when I use this online application?
No. When you are editing a form in
this online (web based) application, those functions are not available.

Can I cut and paste text into the
form?
Yes. But only after you save the form
to your PC and use your word processing editor. *Note: all forms from this
application are saved in the Microsoft Word file format (.doc).

Can I save a file with my own file
name?
Yes. When you choose to save the
form, you will be prompted to enter a file name. The default file name will be
the form title. You can also edit and rename as you wish, following the
standard file naming conventions.
